“I’ve been following you for awhile, your posts mean a lot to me. . I am currently serving in the military and after two deployments, and a lot of battling my own thoughts. I recently decided to get help. So thank you.”

  • Kind Words From YOU

  • Kind Words From YOU

“I can’t thank you enough for posting this. At the early stages of my healing journey and it is BRUTAL!!! A lot of people don’t understand either so I have felt very isolated and like I can’t talk about it outside of therapy. Thank you seriously so much. I desperately desperately needed to hear that.”

  • Kind Words From YOU

I’m so thankful for your interaction with Gary Vee. That was how I started following you and you are such a treat in my feed.”

  • Kind Words From YOU

“You and a few other people I support on Instagram are seriously the top 3 people that have had the biggest impact on me being my true, AUTHENTIC raw self today. Because you really have that “I don’t give a fuck” attitude/mentality and want to really inspire people that have human emotions and being vulnerable isn’t weak, and just the healing journey is nothing to be ashamed about.”

  • Kind Words From YOU

“You’re an amazing person and want everyone to be healed.”

  • Kind Words From YOU

“You’re certainly a guide…as in…come this way this has healed me, see if it helps you.”

About Laura

I am a writer, an author & mental & women’s health advocate. With my recent diagnosis with stage 4 deep infiltrating Endometriosis, I realized how much stories need to be told. By sharing my own journey with healing trauma, it allows for others to feel like they’re not alone. With healing, we must know that healing isn’t linear but we can get to a better place of living out our lives.

I teach others that our body is the boss and the emotions that arise from what we’re feeling in our bodies are the greatest gifts we can receive. It’s an inner compass directing us to a pain point within ourselves that needs attention.

I’m not afraid to share my own struggles because there’s too much stigma around speaking about one’s mental health. I create the space for people to gain the confidence to express their emotions.

It’s my mission to change the way we speak and understand mental health by normalizing human behavior in order to gain a better understanding of the impact of trauma.
